I always wanted to be a part of a revolution (a nonviolent one anyway), something bigger than myself, something that seemed important. That feeling like this is it—we have to do this or else. That feeling like your Bill Murray in Ghostbusters and you’re only thought is how to zap the Marshmellow Man in order to save the world.

Cuban Stamps

I have an obsession with all things in the tropical hemisphere, but for some reason, Cuba runs my curiosity over the brim. Maybe it’s the allure of where you can’t go or the desire to witness this beautiful island so many people have fled for fear of its own government. I really want to go to Cuba.

Research On Location

But if you’re going to splatter the Sistine Chapel, you’re gonna need a big ladder and a lot of paint and probably some other stuff you’ll probably forget about. I’ve been really bad about keeping up with this blogging shmogging. After getting really sick after SXSW and even having to visit the ER for an evening, I’m back—building, planning, researching.
