Mission Statement

Ghost Lion aims to write, distribute, and perform honest songs through our style, tropical post-punk; to gather, collaborate, and converse with a web based community of young, creative thinkers, a.k.a the creative minority; and to help, contribute, and stand up for the urban poor of south Florida. We recognize our flaws but also recognize our potential to do good. We are not crusaders; just people trying to make a living at what we love without compromising, while radically helping others. We are anti-small thinking, anti-"whatever it takes"*, anti-perfection, and pro-redemption.

*"whatever it takes" when it implies a compromise of art, values, beliefs, and relationships to get what you want. We will never do "whatever it takes." Conversely, we believe you are more likely to achieve exactly what you want by holding strong to what you think is right and not being led astray from the course you have set out on.
